'March in the Park' is a plant, garden art, and thrifty treasures sale, the major fundraiser of the Garden Club of Cape Coral. There will be over 45 vendors selling plants and plant related items including the Garden Club. Everything from ground cover, natives, succulents and palms to stepping stones, hand painted pots, and metal sculptures will be found. Master gardeners will be available to answer questions through out the day. Children's creative projects, and a face painter, will be found at the kids booth. Food prepared by the Boy Scouts troop 34, opportunity drawings and music will be available in the park all day. Admission and parking are free. The Garden Club of Cape Coral is a non profit organization and ALL proceeds from 'March in the Park' go to: Local High School Seniors as Marty Ward Merit Awards in horticulture, civic beautification, Youth campers to Camp Wekiva, Habitat for Humanity Projects, local Middle and High School Garden Projects, and to promote civic awareness of environmental and conservation concerns.
