Event Info: |
If you have heard of the
forest or have not, come on out for a fun day of activities. At 10:00
am, there will be a 2-mile fun run on forest trails, followed by guided
hikes, guided bike rides and the opportunity to meet Smokey Bear and
find out about other fun activities in the forest or about the
environment from our partner organizations. The event will take place at
the Equestrian Campground. To get there, take Everglades Blvd.
south from Golden Gate Blvd. and head south over I-75. From there,
follow the signs. The event is free and dog friendly (if the dogs are
on-leash). Sign-ups are requested for the guided bike ride and guided
trail walk. Call (239) 348-7557 or email Austin.Allen@FDACS.gov to sign
up as space is limited. |
