PEACE DAY IS BACK & AT A NEW LOCATION!!! A community event in honor of the International Day of Peace… a FREE event for the Whole Family, including our Furry Friends! This year, Peace Day will be celebrated from 10AM to 5PM on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the beautiful WA-KE HATCHEE PARK in Fort Myers. Every year we come together as a community to celebrate a day of Peace, and every year we have a new theme. This year’s theme is Unity in CommUnity…Bridging the Gaps Between Us. Let’s take the next step together as a CommUnity, and see what else we can create together! Peace starts with us. In our hearts, our homes and our neighborhoods. We will continue to build on our food and supplies drive for our neighbors and pets in need, as well as the blood drive for “Peace Blood” to save local lives. There will be amazing Live Talent from local musicians, artists, entertainers, gardeners, and unique vendors who amaze you with their creativity and love for our community! FUN for the whole family, with crafts, workshops, activities for kids of all ages, yoga and meditations, sing-alongs, education, key note speakers and more! In addition. there will be food trucks bringing their incredibly delicious vegetarian, vegan and omnivore meals, treats and beverages!
