2016 Fort Myers Beach Lions Shrimp Festival Schedule: Saturday March 12 Lions 5K Shrimp Festival Run 9am This exciting race closely precedes the parade down Estero Blvd. and last year featured more than 500 runners.  Shrimp Festival Parade: 10am Saturday March 13. This 1.5 mile long parade runs down the main street of town (Estero Blvd.) from the beach school to the County Park and Festival Grounds on the beach.  Festival Food, Fun & Crafts Expo More than 100 great Vendors hit the beach! There will also be Official Festival Tee Shirts Tank tops, caps and more on sale Festival Grounds Saturday & Sunday. World Famous Lions Shrimp Dinners! On the beach and pavilion 10am Saturday until 5pm and Sunday 10 am until they’re all sold out. Shrimp provided by our local boats. Crowning of the 58th Shrimp Festival Queen 1pm an old fashioned family event with scholarships and trophies awarded on the beach at the beach pavilion at the county park.  Sunday March 13 Ft. Myers Beach World Championship Shrimp Eating Contest 1pm at the festival grounds. Shrimp Festival Food Fun & Crafts Expo More than 100 great vendors hit the beach!
